Think of your stairlift as an extension of yourself – from time to time you might need a check-up with your doctor so likewise, your stairlift may well need a service!
At Superglide Stairlifts, whether you have a new, curved or reconditioned stairlift, we can provide a quick and efficient stairlift service, ensuring your stairlift is fit and proper to return to a pristine working condition again…
But before you pick up the phone and book your stairlift in for a service, here’s a handy guide from the Superglide team on just what you can expect from Stairlift Servicing with the North West’s premier Stairlift provider:
How regularly does my Stairlift need servicing?
At Superglide Stairlifts, whether your new stairlift is encountering problems or been as fit as a fiddle for most of its shelflife, we recommend booking a service at least every year.
For a curved or reconditioned model, we always think it’s safer to have these checked slightly more often at six-month intervals.
After every visit, our team will ensure that your stairlift is safe and fit for use before leaving your home (should COVID-19 restrictions allow, please get in touch here to confirm our current COVID-19 policy)
How much does Stairlift Servicing cost?
With Superglide Stairlifts, our professional service engineers can carry out a stairlift service from as little as £75, as independence shouldn’t have to cost the earth…
Our Stairlift servicing is truly a thorough affair with our engineers conducting a safety check consisting of 20 markers – if one’s not ticked, it’s a fail!
With that in mind, you can be sure that servicing from Superglide Stairlifts is as safe as they come, freeing you up to focus on what matters most, your family life.
Superglide’s Top Stairlift Care Tips
We believe sharing is caring at Superglide Stairlifts, so with that being said, here are our top tips to care of your stairlift – in between servicing from ourselves of course!
- Try to keep dust to a minimum on your stairlift’s rails – a good quality dust cloth, once a week should do the trick! If you have a ‘hose’ attachment for your vacuum cleaner and are able to use that, even better.
- Keep pets away if you can!
- Try to discourage children from playing with your stairlift – however tempting it might be to ‘go for a ride’ for your little ones!
- Always follow the weight guidelines of your stairlift model
Our final tip is to regularly have your stairlift serviced. That’s where we come in! All our stairlifts come with an 18-month guarantee but you should you need us, we’ll always be on hand to help.
